Female baboon died
Category: Primate Rescue/Rehabilitation | Date: Feb 13 2007 | By: admin
The female baboon that we picked up yesterday and were treating in our clinic sadly died during the night. We discovered this morning that she had been lying injured in the housing estate for 10 days before anyone contacted us. She was severely dehydrated and starving, as well as injured from being hit. If only we could have got to her earlier.

My name is Gwili Gibbon. I'm Assistant Manager at The Colobus Trust. I am a British ex-volunteer who returned to work at the Trust after university, truly a dream come true. I joined in October 2007 and work hard to do what we can with our limited budget and small, but hardworking, team of volunteers and staff. I am using the experience I have gained through my education (& time here) and intend to use it to do all I can to ensure the survival of Colobus angolensis palliatus and it's associated habitats.
